Expert tips
1. Be sure to wash each of your make-up brushes before initial
use.This helps to wash away any additional stray brush bristles
from the natural fibre brushes.
2. If your brush bristles are misshaped in your brush kit, give
them a wash and dry with their brush guards on overnight and they
will be as good as new.
3. As most brush sanitisers contain alcohol, It is recommend not to
use any further harsh detergents or cleansers when washing your
natural fibre artisan makeup brushes as this may cause the bristles
to become fragile and break. To protect the natural oils within the
fibres, opt for a gentle cleanser such as the "All Natural Brush
Soap".The cleanser is enriched with all wonderful natural oils and
your brushes will love you for using it. Followed by a conditioner.
4. Avoid drying your brushes with the bristles facing upward as
this allows water/ alcohol to seep into the ferrule (The metal part
of the brush), resulting in loosened or dissolved glue and the
potential for bristles to fall out.
5. For personal use, any brushes used to apply liquid products
should be cleaned daily, as they tend to trap more bacteria.
Brushes that are used for powdered products, cleanse every couple
of days using a gentle brush cleanser to disinfect brushes.
*Note
If you experience loss of dye or bristles from a brush, this is
completely normal especially with the natural fibre brushes.
The stray hairs will subside after each wash. Avoid soaking brushes
in water or alcohol.
